Welcome

NUTU Academy CIC is a social enterprise working with communities and institutions through tailored, research-driven activities that address issues of empowerment, digital poverty, inequalities, capacity building, skills acquisition, trainings and social inclusion. Our core interest is in seeing communities thrive using the latest theoretical and technological tools to bring vision to reality. We work with communities to develop sustainable, small innovative and implementable products and services, supporting organisations to be independent and develop new service solutions, maximising their values, and minimising waste.

Research & Community Resilience

Resilience is achieved by investing in targeted services and supporting what matters to people and communities. Essential in reducing poverty, building capacity and widening participation and social mobility.

Wellbeing & Health

Using research and consultation to design and deliver intrinsic value that develops skills and strengthens disadvantaged communities’ own health and wellbeing. Guaranteed by advocating preventative health interventions and supporting targeted approaches that address key risk factors of inequalities including mental, emotional and economic well-being.

Co-Creation & Diversity

We work with communities to co-create activities that aim to build a more sustainable and inclusive society. Realised through removing barriers to opportunities and services, giving back voices, challenging stigmatisation, and racism and evidencing achievements and participation of BAME groups.
